Through breathing exercises, guided meditations, self-care and gratitude, Bonnie gives people the tools they need to live, work and love from a place of centeredness.
Topics
Illness as a Spiritual Journey
In this workshop, we’ll use guided meditation, journaling, and reflection to create an inner refuge of comfort that we can go to in the midst of any storm. Using the guidance of the ancient traditions of Eastern medicine, we will find ways to bring light into times of darkness and to connect with our deepest and strongest selves.
Living With Chronic Illness
Chronic illness, despite its challenges, offers ways to find meaning and purpose in life. Bonnie will share want she learned during her nine years of living with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and the steps she took to achieve full recovery from the illness. Participants will discover ways to appreciate the lessons that illness teaches and will come away with a plan to guide them towards health.
Create One New Habit
Our health consists of habits formed over a lifetime. What we eat, how we move, the thoughts we think -- all of these contribute to the ways our bodies respond to our environment. We become more powerful as we consciously choose and create these habits. This workshop will take you through the process of choosing and integrating one habit that will enhance your life in a positive way and become part of the foundation for a healthy balanced life.
Breath Work
In times of stress and struggle, our breath is always there. It's our bodies most basic rhythm. Deepening the way we breathe is one of the most powerful ways to go through times of change. This workshop teaches ways to utilize the breath to bring about a feeling of calm even during the most challenging circumstances.
Gratitude
Life is a miracle. Each day the sun rises, the seasons shift. We live in a vibrant and beautiful area. We are sheltered, clothed and fed. Our work awaits us. This is a moment (actually an hour) to take pause and be thankful for the blessings in our lives. Participants will learn how to incorporate a gratitude practice into their daily routine.
Ear Acupuncture Clinic
Ear acupuncture treatments use acupuncture points in the ear to treat the entire body. Sitting together in a room, each participant will receive a treatment designed to bring about deep relaxation.
